Welcome to HOLIDAY CAR RENTALS   CREDIT CARDS  Our preferred credit cards are MasterCard, Visa or JCB (Japanese) subject to authorization. Cash Renters welcome (conditions apply). Fees 2.5% for Visa & Mastercard or 4.5% for Amex. A pre-authorisation (swipe) of a credit card is required for all rentals.   CHILD RESTRAINTS Approved Baby Seats and Baby Capsules are available at $3 per Day and Booster Seats are $2.00 per day - to a Maximum Payable of $30 per rental.   DRIVER'S LICENCES All current Australian and most overseas or International Licenses are accepted. Drivers must have held a licence for a minimum of 2 years and be over the age of 21 years.   PETROL Your car will be supplied with fuel. We ask you to return it to the same level as you took it out otherwise a charge for fuel will be made with a surcharge to cover our labour cost.   RENTAL DURATION One day rentals are available at our shop. For pre booked rentals the minimum is 2 days. 24hr notice is required to cancel or shorten rental time. No refunds are given in peak times such as Easter, Xmas or Public holidays, all other times are at the managers approval for time extensions ring our office (07 5599 2566) otherwise extra charges will be incurred.   DAMAGE LIABILITY (applies to all vehicles)  The standard damage liability applicable to all rentals is $2500 and can be reduced for the extra costs shown here:- 25+ the damage liability can be reduced to $500 for a waiver fee of $12 per day, 10 days + $10 per day or to $300 for $15 per day, 10 days + $$12 per day. 21-24yr renters the waiver is mandatory - $15 per day the damage liability is reduced to $750. (A $750.00 authorisation will be required for under 25s) Windscreen and Tyre damage cover is available for an additional fee of $3 per day.   A VALID CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF RENTAL - AN AUTHORISATION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE WAIVER either $300 or $500 - If our waiver is NOT not taken we would require a $1000 authorisation.   We can no longer take a rental car booking without a valid credit card, NO DEBIT CARDS OR CHEQUES CAN BE TAKEN. A booking can be paid in cash but we will still reguire a credit card for authoristaion.   Note: Overhead, interior, under body and windscreen damage howsoever caused is always at the Renters risk. All insurance is void if  the vehicle is driven off properly constructed roads.   AREA OF USE Our rates include 250 km per day ie 7-day hire will give you 1750 km. All cars are not to go outside a 250km radius of the Gold Coast unless previously arranged with management.   ROADSIDE ASSIST 24 hour emergency roadside assist with RACQ. If any breakdown is our fault we pay, if it is a clients fault like leaving lights on or locking keys in the cars the client pays the callout charge.
